‘I’m walking into 2020 with a clear heart and mind.’
If you owe me, don’t worry about it.
If you’ve wronged me, lesson learned.
If you’re angry with me, you won – I’ve let go.
If we aren’t speaking, it’s cool – I wish you well.
I’m grateful for every experience I’ve received.
We all have different thoughts and resolutions for every new year that comes. A whole decade is gone – and this is the question you should ask yourself: am I happy with who I have become?
I think we can all admit that the years 2018-2019 were probably the worst years in this decade, at least for me they were!
See, not everything in life is jolly..it’s not a metaphor when people say “life is like a roller coaster” – because it really is; there is the way up, the positive, the happy ,and from there it goes down – the problems, the stress pushing us down , yet after that we end up going up again. It’s perfectly balanced! Without the bad there would be no good; and vice versa.
As I’ve mentioned above, I have had a very tough year in 2019 which includes many changes i had to go through; change in countries, university and relationships. Many people have come and gone, others have stayed by my side.
My message to all my close friends for 2020 is put yourself first.
I myself have learned to love who i am, what i do, and put my priorities first, letting go of all toxic people around me and concentrating on who i want to become. I am more than grateful to have found my path in life, the path i was searching for years, the person i wanted to become. Yoga has helped me in so many ways possible to create a life i enjoy, a way of letting go all my insecurities and problems. Meditation has helped me realize how the powerful the mind is, it has helped me realize the power of love, the meaning of life, and most of all, it has helped me realize who i really am.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
